Karnataka MBBS admission is conducted based on NEET 2018 results and other criteria. Candidates who qualify for Karnataka MBBS can apply for admission to any medical college in the state. The eligibility criteria for applying to study medicine in Karnataka are given below:

Karnataka MBBS admission: Eligibility

Karnataka MBBS Admission is for students who want to pursue an MBBS course in Karnataka. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • You have to have completed your 12th class.
  • You must have passed the Matriculation exam or equivalent exam from any board or university.

NEET cutoff

NEET is a national-level entrance exam. It is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi to admit students into MBBS courses across India.

The NEET exam is conducted in April every year and has been designed to test the aptitude, reasoning ability, and knowledge of candidates with respect to their eligibility criteria for admission into medical colleges in Karnataka State as per Medical Council of India guidelines.

Candidates who qualify for this exam will be called for counseling sessions where they need to convince either through a personal interview or a written test depending on whether they want admission through private colleges or government institutions respectively.
