Date:

Logitech has created the new Circle View Logitech circle inhttps://hufftime.com/stallation Doorbell, which gives you security and peace of mind by allowing you to see, hear and speak to whoever is at your door via your smart phone or computer anywhere in the world. The best part about the Logitech Circle Doorbell is that it requires no installation as it comes with its own built-in high definition camera and microphone; all you need to do to install it on your door frame is plug it in and turn it on.

Tools and Materials Needed

You will need a screwdriver and a drill. To start, you will want to make sure the doorbell is in an area that has an unobstructed view of the front door so it can see when someone comes up the path. Next, take off the protective plastic cover on the back of the doorbell by unscrewing it. Once removed, you’ll have access to three screws that are holding in place the interior plate; remove them with your screwdriver. After unscrewing those screws, you’ll need to pry apart some tabs and remove the plate so you can access four more screws that hold in place another plate; remove those as well and set them aside for now. Step-by-Step Installation Instructions

Unpack the Logitech Circle and find a suitable location for it. The ideal location is on a wall near the front door, but any location will work as long as it is within Wi-Fi range of the house. Avoid placing it too close to windows or in a room with lots of interference from other wireless devices like microwaves, cordless phones, or DECT phones. Mounting screws are included in the package and you can use them if you want to mount it on the wall (or ceiling). If not mounting, place in an out-of-the-way location that won’t get bumped often. Turn Circle around so the lens faces the entrance to your home and then wait for it to scan for new networks. It should only take about 20 seconds. On your phone, open up Circle App and tap Setup. Follow on-screen instructions to connect Circle’s Wife connection to router’s Wife connection. With Circle connected, follow on-screen instructions and plug in Ethernet cable between Circle’s Ethernet port located at the bottom of the device with modem/router.
