The great thing about food delivery is that there are no snobby, indifferent shoppers. Not to mention the crazies who open a loaf of bread to check it’s fresh or the creeps who pick up an apple to see if it’s crisp.
However, the staff can also be a little crazy. There are employees who put expired products back on the shelf, store managers who don’t see the problem, and unscrupulous store owners who participate in the problem to make money. Don’t forget to take care of parking spaces on the weekends. It’s hard enough to find a free spot, plus you have to maneuver an unattended shopping cart. Just as there are no downsides to getting food delivered, there are not all bad things about buying food. But it’s the rare bad events that make food shopping different. Perhaps we should just get into the business of producing the food we eat.
